On Saturday, April 5 2014, Cultural Infusion presented Cypher Culture, a festival of youth incorporating dancers, MCs, vocalists and lovers of street culture as part of National Youth Week. The festival featured performances by The Gua Project, Bbreaks dance crew, The Hold Up, Rockin Melbourne and DJs Jumps and Tofu. Young people aged 12 to 25 showcased their skills, participated in workshops, competed for the Cypher Culture crowning title on the day and put the whole festival together.
Cultural Infusion, a state-based FreeZa provider for the Victorian Office for Youth, is a social enterprise that works in education, youth, communities and the arts to promote cultural harmony and well-being for a more cohesive and richer society.
Cultural Infusion is dedicated to promoting equality, social justice and encouraging a broader understanding of culture across our community for the benefit of all. Over the past 11 years we have worked with diverse tools to enable the greatest number of people possible to experience vibrant cultural and inter-cultural arts and social initiatives.
